Removal of large plinth sign

Pacific fms was recently presented with the task of removing a 15 metre steel directional sign, from the forecourt of the Engie Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park.  Extensive works were required prior to undertaking the works, from the investigation as to footing settings, frame configuration, services location and devising a methodology for the de-commissioning of the sign.  All of our teams worked in with our trades, providing Traffic Control, Oxy Acetylene Cutting, Crane works and transport to disposal.

Some of these jobs are ‘the ones that keep us awake at night’, but are the most satisfying upon completion of the works.
