Our History
Pacific Facilities Management Systems, was born on the back of a slightly used beer coaster in 1997.
The ensuing 12 months allowed a dream to be realised and in 1998 Pacific Lawn and Property Maintenance commenced operations on the NSW Central Coast. Armed with one brush cutter and one smokey push mower 37 customers were keenly catered for. Within 18 months the business grew and the client list included numerous holiday homes, who’s owners implored Pacific to look after their own homes in the Sydney Metropolitan area.
Pacific expanded its operations to Sydney running numerous mowing teams and branching out into pressure cleaning and before long the business was caring for in excess of 700 clients from Sydney to Newcastle.
In late 1999 an opportunity presented for Pacific to undertake works at then Homebush Bay and continue to provide contract services to this date on this site that became Sydney Olympic Park.
With an increase in services provided to our clients in a wide array of tasks, Pacific Lawn & Property Maintenance became Pacific Facilities Management Systems and were proud to work with the Olympic Coordination Authority throughout the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Pacific’s growth continued into further Regional areas and today boasts a client base that extends within the Local Government and State Government Sectors, from Sydney Metro to Coffs Harbour in the North, providing Grounds Maintenance, Asset Protection Maintenance and Specialised Pressure Cleaning to those areas.
The company is proud to have a workforce that consists of committed and hardworking individuals, those who bring trade experience and those who bring successful tertiary qualifications to our ranks.
